Sure. The gist is that Disqus collects your data like no one's business, and other shady things like ads. It's a very popular commenting system because it's free to use and easy to setup, but there's an obvious downside. I achieve this using https://brid.gy/ (or https://fed.brid.gy/ if you want your blog to appear as a first class member of the Fediverse), though in my case I just syndicate out to Twitter.
