I’m currently using a Mawaqit tablet with the Mawaqit TV app pre-installed. I initially set up my device using my local mosque’s schedule, but discovered it wouldn’t play the full Athan at prayer times unless I created my own location. When I copied the mosque’s configuration, it worked—but only with a one-time import. After the mosque updates its timings (e.g., extending or shortening the gap between Athan and Iqamah), my device doesn’t automatically sync those changes, and I have to redo the copy.
It would be incredibly helpful to have an auto-sync feature that:
1. Continuously copies/updates prayer times from an existing location (e.g., my local mosque).
2. Preserves any notifications override, such as playing the full Athan instead of the default beep.
This addition would save a lot of time and ensure prayer times stay accurate without manual intervention.
Thank you for considering this request. I appreciate your ongoing efforts to improve Mawaqit and look forward to any updates that might make this process smoother for users like me.
Kind regards,
