Summary

Hi.
In Mattermost for Android, spell checking doesn't work when I use the Samsung keyboard. Typos are underlined for a split second, and then the underline disappears and/or the typo is not underlined at all.
At the same time, in other apps (Telegram, Google Translate) this bug does not occur, from which I conclude that there is a problem between Mattermost and the Samsung keyboard.
When I use the GBOARD keyboard and the spell check option with GBOARD - the problem disappears. If I turn on the Samsung keyboard again, turn on the spell check with the Samsung keyboard and restart the application - the problem returns.

Environment Information

  • Device Name: Samsung Galaxy S23+(SM-916B/DS)
  • OS Version: Android 14; OneUI 6.1
  • Mattermost App Version: 20.21.0; Google Play
  • Mattermost Server Version: 9.7.6

Steps to reproduce

Go to settings, switch spell check to Samsung keyboard and switch the keyboard itself to Samsung. Restart the application.

Expected behavior

When using the Samsung keyboard, spelling errors should be underlined
