Expected behaviour

Less used / active / user selectec icons should be hidden in a menu, instead of waste panel space.

Actual behaviour

All icons are shown in the indicator, wasting panel space.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

Have multiple indicators, like the standard ones of Ubuntu.

MATE general version

1.24

Package version

Linux Distribution

A solution like the one on Windows 10 would be nice, where you can be able to select what notifications should be shown allways. I'm only interested on having all the time only the ones that tell me something, other ones like sound, configuration, graphic card options or powersafe settings can be hidden.
