I originally installed mash through mashtree's Conda command and got an error saying I needed mash version > 2.

I have tried the following commands, unsuccessfully, to update mash to version 2:

conda update mash

conda install mash=2

conda install -c bioconda mash=2.3

conda install -c bioconda/label/cf201901 mash

conda install -c bioconda mash=2.2.2

After conda install -c bioconda mash=2.3, the final output read Your installed version is: 2.17, but it was still version 1.1.

This issue was mentioned previously, but specifying the package number solved the issue for them. As stated above, that has not allowed me to update Mash.

Thank you for your time.
