Persistently setting --show-signature

I want to always show the signature info (the green color on the commit hash) in the commit log. There doesn't seem to be any other way to do this than to do l =S l every single time I open the commit log, which is very annoying. Could you add a variable so this could be set persistently instead?

The infix arguments used by a certain transient popups can be set/saved for future invocations. TL;DR Enter the transient as usual, enable and/or disable arguments, and finally type C-x s or C-x C-s.
