Integration Testing for v0.14.0

Tasks

• Update docker/docker-compose.multi-node-test.yml
• Test 4-node cluster without Ra
• Verify DHT propagation works
• Verify PubSub delivery works
• Verify RPC routing works

NAT Traversal Testing

• Run docker/nat-test/run-nat-test.sh
• Verify hole punching succeeds
• Verify relay fallback works
• Test connection upgrade (relay → direct)

Bridge System Testing

• Test hierarchical DHT escalation
• Verify cache TTL behavior
• Test bridge mesh formation

Context

Part of v0.14.0 release - Ra/Raft removal and CRDT foundation.
Phases 1-4 complete (Ra removed, 44 new tests, 4 READMEs, dialyzer clean).

Integration Testing Progress

Ra Removal Verified ✅

The Docker multi-node test shows Ra has been successfully removed:

Registry started with apps: [crypto,asn1,public_key,ssl,quicer,msgpack,gproc,macula]

No more ra in the application list!

Test Infrastructure Issue Found

The Docker test scripts reference macula_client:connect/2 which doesn't exist. The actual API is in macula_local_client:

• macula_local_client:connect/2
• macula_local_client:publish/3
• macula_local_client:call/3
• etc.

Commits Made

• 2f4d875: Update rebar.lock to remove ra dependency
• 2964096: Remove ra from macula.app.src applications, bump to v0.14.0

Next Steps

• Update Docker test scripts to use macula_local_client instead of macula_client
• Or create macula_client.erl as a facade/alias module
