Option to never overwrite source video file

Without fully knowing I accidentally used the command

auto_subtitle 01.mp4 --language ja --output_srt True

and it turns my original file into a 0:0 empty video with the first few frames. It's a huge lost on my end as the video is forever gone without backup. I wish by default the tool never overwrite the original video file.
