Automatic turn on when power applied - Heltec V3

I have a heltec v3 running Lora APRS tracker.  I have mounted this in my vehicle, and I have discovered that when power is applied (when ignition on) the heltec will NOT turn on, until a button is pressed on it.

Is there a circuit or software hack that will make it turn on when USB power is applied?
