By text boxes I mean <input type="text">. It is not clear if these are intended to be supported by this plugin. However, it appears to work perfectly fine until the text box gets full and the text within starts to scroll.

This jsfiddle illustrates the issue.

I tested this in FF 52.8.0 and Chrome 66.0.3359.
When the issue occurs FF prints the following warning to the console:
