When entering data it can breaks the complete zone and can lead to SERVAIL errors.
For example when adding a CNAME record for sub.example.org and a MX record for sub.example.org.
In my case the secondary (slave) nameserver does not responding for www.example.org.
Maybe it is possible to run the pdnsutil check-zone command and show the error to the user with or without rolling back the changes? Or implement a custom check of the zone.

This would take much effort since pdnsutil check-zone can not be run if PDNSManager is not on the same machine as Powerdns (which is for example my setup). Therefore a check must be implemented on my own. Nevertheless it seems to be a good Idea so I will leave this issue as idea.
