Save Only Enhanced Image

I can't get this feature to work. I have tried checkmarking it under the dev debug settings and when it produces an image it does not go into the input folder, I frankly have no idea where it goes. It seems to save nothing. I tried using the config file and add "default_save_only_final_enhanced_image": true,

But that doesn't work. Tried adding it in presets and that didn't work though editing presets allowed me to save some presets (config.txt file appears to do nothing for me).

I just want to save the final enhanced image so I don't have so many pre-enhanced images in my outputs folder.

Anyone have this issue before. Tried googling and saw there were issues with the config.txt not working for some ppl and that's how I found out to edit the presets to get some saved settings, but the saving only enhanced image feature I can't for the life of me get to work.

Okay I have the box toggled through a correctly formatted config.txt file, but it still doesn't save the final output to the outputs folder.

It sends both to the temp folder leaving the output folder out of the equation.

When I select to save only the enhanced image it still doesn't work. It creates nothing in the output. I have to unselect this option for outputs to reach the outputs folder, but I end up with the scuffed image and enhanced. I would really like not having all these scuffed images that I don't want saved, but I am not sure what else to do.

Does the save only enhanced image option work for everyone else? Should I just reinstall again and hope?
