IP Adapter Batch and Folder Uploads don't seem to work consistently . . . any advice?

One of my preferred techniques is to upload a folder filled with source material and process with with Image to Image or other techniques. I'd like to do with with IP Adapter, eg to have a given prompt, and then have Forge iterate through the images in IP Adapter . . . but for both the folder and the batch uploads, I only get the first image affecting IP Adapter. This behavior works differently with other ControlNets

. . . has anyone explored this issue? I don't use A1111 any more, but I recall that that this did work correctly there.
