[packaging] please add version tags?

Hello,
I'm working on packaging the libretro cores for GNU Guix, a source-based linux distro. However, there are no version tags on this repository, despite there being a version listed in libretro's info file for the core. It would be more convenient to packagers to have the versions tagged in the repository, but perhaps I am missing something here. Is this a mirror repo?
