Installing via homebrew overwrites links to zookeeper's bundled 'zkcli' #10

If you install zookeeper via homebrew, and then install this via homebrew, you will find that the inbuilt zookeeper utility (zkCli.sh) is no longer accessible. To get it back, you have to brew reinstall zookeeper

perhaps reconsider the name of this package?

For me this is a plus! If it's a problem for you, maybe you can reduce the priority of homebrew in your $PATH ?
