setting up the IAC bus

go to utilities > Audio MIDI Setup > Window > Show MIDI Window

double click on IAC driver

click on the checkbox Device is online

Due to limitations in the scripter stuff, probably due to being the first release of the capability, it's hard to get the midi the scripter makes into a track.

you need to inable the IAC driver
