I propose a new type of ground raid: The Resurrection of the Fallen (The Dead Men's Raid)
Hi! I'd like to propose a new type of ground raid on the colony - "The Resurrection of the Fallen" or "The Dead Men's Raid". I have a few ideas about how it could work:
Option 1: Graves and Cemeteries
At the start of the raid, graves or cemeteries appear on the map. The number can vary, for example, from 15 to 20, with some being empty (8), others containing raider spawners (5) and the rest containing valuable loot (2).
• Raiders: Spawners generate raiders with a zombie appearance, creating an atmosphere of a grim "resurrection".
• Loot: Players can find bones, cobwebs, ingots and other thematic items in the graves.
• Difficulty: The graves can be scattered across the map at distances of 5 to 20 blocks apart, adding difficulty and dynamics.
• Spawn frequency: Raiders should spawn fairly frequently, such as every 15 seconds, creating a constant threat.
Option 2: Return of the Dead
In this variant, at the start of the raid, not only graves appear on the map, but also the deceased colonists themselves, who rise from the dead. Their appearance will correspond to their previous status:
• Builder: Will be armed with a pickaxe, axe or shovel.
• Knight: Will fight with a sword.
• Sorcerer: Will attack with potions.
• Archer: Will shoot arrows.
• Blacksmith: Will use an axe.
And so on, depending on the colonist's profession.
