dark mode not dark in gedit #268

Did you actually do this? (Or simply click the dark mode button in the top right menu in gnome-shell.) Things like this can also happen if old configuration files or environment variables related to themes are active somewhere. |

Prerequisites
Checklist to make sure the issue is not on your end

or/usr/share/themes
or~/.themes
~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css
does not exist. (If it does, backup and remove it.)gnome-tweaks
AND set the appearance to dark ingnome-control-center

Description
I dont know if this is just because gedit wants to be light, but gedit will only stick to light mode. Uses the theme just fine, just dosent use dark mode.
note: i am a dumbass, i do dumbass things, take everything i say with a bit of patience.

EndeavourOS Endeavour (great name, i know)
