Simulation blows up with LAMMPS-METATOMIC `2025.9.10.mta2`

Problem

While running upet models with a mentioned version I see that the simulation just blows up. This is most likely a bug introduced in a recent PR in lammps metatomic.

Solution

For now, it's recommended to use the lammps-metatomic==2025.9.10.mta1
