isn't nginx an acceptable SSL endpoint?

do you need to support this in python? (given that it's connecting to localhost anyway?)

Yea, well issue is to track this happening.

But support in python to force it using http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_Strict_Transport_Security would be nice.
