We would like to see how many instances of the admissions controller that are currently in use - including some kind of heartbeat telemetry that includes a couple of metrics:

  • number of active bindings ?
  • number of resources validated since start ?
  • min/max/average resource validation times ?
  • ?

This should be enabled by default but possible to disable by some configuration mechanism
