higher sent numbers than subscribers

I'm using the current latest version 5.0.2 and I encountered a strange issues.
My campaign status shows a higher number of sent emails than subscribers.
Can anyone give me tips on troubleshooting a specific campaign?

I paused the campaign because of the count being so high.
Is it possible to look at logs that are campaign specific?
For a paused campaign, is there a way to see which emails have been emailed and which haven't?

I didn't notice anything odd in the logs displayed by the UI.
