Describe the feature you'd like

It said that the installation locally/on-prem would be possible; using Local AI and others tools makes it nearly possible.

BUT, ...

... what about authentication?! A closed network for operation would mean, that there is no connection to Google or Resend (beside that, IMHO I would never use one of these).

Additionally, operated on prem, there is probably an appropriate directory, authentication mech, ... available!?

  1. I am able to manage users (with passwords and everything) within the /server/admin interface, but how could these users login then?

  2. (long term/the read Feature Request) connection to something like Key Cloak, ..., ... would be perfect for saying "installable on prem". ;))

A JWT based redirect system would be good as well.

Beside that, each auth mech should be able to get enabled or disabled.

E.g. disable Google Auth.

And, ... "Register" should be able to get disabled too.
