Project: Moro (Pragma Hackathon 2023)

Carbonable's Madara fork that enables carbon compensation at sequencer level.

The idea is to compensate the carbon emissions of block execution.

1. We compute the block execution resources.
2. We deploy a Carbon Credit ERC20 contract at genesis.
3. We create a new block transaction that buys the corresponding amount of carbon credits from the contract.
4. Credits are paid using the fees receiver by the sequencer.
