namespace - undefined, name - concatenated

Is there a way to get namespace and name separately as it is on the avsc itself? We have multiple event types in the topic and need to distinguish between them by avro record name

For now i was only able to get name as a concatenated string of namespace and name this way:

    console.log(schema.namespace); // undefined
