I am encountering the same problem documented in this closed issue. I have tried the recommendations in the thread and still cannot see the kernel when loading the app.

Some additional notes:

  • JL is being served on an AWS EC2 instance.
  • We are using nginx as a reverse proxy to forward load balancer requests to JL's URL.
  • Serving via jupyter lite serve command.

I don't know if this is related, but the output from jupyter lite status shows:

.  status:jupyterlite-pyodide-kernel-pyodide:pyodide
     URL: None

Should the URL be populated?
