Having carefully mapped light events for a song with interesting rhythms, I'm finding it would be very helpful to see these events while arranging the notes. The events tell me where certain patterns and emphasized beats
occur in the song, especially syncopation and triplets which are tricky to get right, so I can align the notes to them or at least use them to navigate. I could switch back and forth between the views and compare beat numbers, but this is tedious. A compact view of the light events could serve the same role as the frequency visualization shown in other mappers, but would be even more readable.
