Hello!

I really appreciate this library. I see that it has been a while since a contribution has been made to this repo. Is it still actively maintained? I have some bug-fixes and improvements I would like to submit. But if there is no interest in maintaining this repo, I can fork it and make improvements there.

Thoughts?
