How to sync jj repos to and from an air-gapped machine

I have a few repositories which I have to sync between an air-gapped computer and other machines. Does jj offer a workflow for this?

Side note: Under git I use

• On the "exporting" machine:

  1. git bundle create dated-bundle-file.bundle main

• On "importing" machine:

  1. git fetch dated-bundle-file.bundle main:dated-tag
  2. git merge main:dated-tag

This works in both directions. (Exporting and importing machines can be swapped.)

Is there a (possibly simpler) mechanism to move changes built into Jujutsu?

I am not aware of such a thing. However, the git bundle workflow you mention does work with jj colocated repos.

Yep, I will try the bundle worklfow with a (colocated) Jujutsu repo.

Just hoping Jujutsu caters for this scenario natively...

you probably should be able to create a workspace on the air-gapped machine and use that as a synchronization mechanism.
