jj git push stuck because of SSH authentication

Hello,

This is the first time I try jj and so far I like it a lot (locally). I am encountering a problem when I try to push a commit to origin on Github.

$ jj git push -b bla
Branch changes to push to origin:
  Add branch bla to 1bfd45eedff8

# hangs for quite a long time

Error: remote rejected authentication: Failed getting response; class=Ssh (23); code=Auth (-16)
Hint: Jujutsu uses libssh2, which doesn't respect ~/.ssh/config. Does `ssh -F /dev/null` to the host work?

Trying to SSH to github works:

$ ssh -F /dev/null [email protected]
PTY allocation request failed on channel 0
Hi jbcdnr! You've successfully authenticated, but GitHub does not provide shell access.
Connection to github.com closed.

I am not sure how to interpret the hint and how to fix this problem. Thanks a lot for any help!

Hello

You are probably also hitting #1970, could you try it again with a reclone of the repo and jj git push -v? There seems to be a libgit2 issue we seem to be hitting.

And are you using the Git credential store or something else?

Oh yes, sorry I didn't find this issue in my search.

I tried to clone again this time with jj git clone (before I did git clone followed by jj init --git-repo .).

$ jj git clone [email protected]/... -v
