Suggest changing Hours of protection to Years, Months & days

Hi,

The mobile link app shows hours of protection in days rather than hours. Currently if one wants to know how long they've had their generator they would have to do a bit of simple math. I think it would be nicer to just see it listed as Yrs, Months, Days.

I can make that change. The reason it is displayed as hours is that this is how it is displayed on the controller screen and it is how is is returned from modbus.

Does the mobile link app still call it "Hours of Protection" or do they label it as something else like "Protection Duration", I think the counter is just the hours since the generator was activated.

I checked in an update that renames "Hours of Protection" to "Time Since Activation". I also added an option on the Advanced Settings page named "Time Since Activation Format" that allows you to use the hours or years, days, hours format.

Hello, with my Generac Model 0064622 (16K Air Cooled Evolution 1) after upgrading GenMon, I don't find the display of Hours of Protection/Time Since Activation or Station History for that matter.

In the Advanced Settings page I do have "Time Since Activation Format" option and it is On.

Is that not supported with an Evolution 1? Or might it be due to my replacing the controller a couple years ago.

Good question. The hours since activation is only exported via modbus on the Evo2 or Evo1 Liquid Cooled Controllers. Since you have an Evo1 air cooled is it not available.
