Hi @dgkepps You did not mention the type of controller you have. The only Generac residential controller that supports setting the auto / on / off button via modbus is the Evolution Liquid Cooled. For non Generac and industrial models, it is a mixed bag, some do and some do not but one can look on the Maintenance page to see if this functionality is supported. Ok I recently went through a 5 day power outage. My generator runs on propane. Fortunately I was home, but weather wasn’t very nice. I would go out and shut generator down at bedtime and then go out and restart in the morning to save propane. My raspberry runs off the generator battery so is always operating. I would love to be able to tell my genmon to put the generator back on auto start at a set time. A one time switch. This way I could set it for say 8 am to go to auto and then use the maintenance settings to shut the generator down at night. It would save me propane in another event like this and flip the generator on in the morning. If utility was back on then great, if not generator would start. By the way obviously my network is powered down going to the raspberry when power is off. Thanks
