Use Fallback Fonts like other clients

Problem description

Currently, Android TV client would only search fonts in the container but not the fallback fonts, which is different from other clients

Proposed solution

On the web client, they would preload the fonts in the browser and use them when no existing fonts can be used.
I wonder if the Android TV client has any chance of adding this feature.

Fallback fonts are meant for the SSA and ASS formats. Both of those don't direct-play on the client and require baking using a server-side transcode. At that point it is up to the server to use those fallback fonts.
