A robust shading pipeline construction rendering engine
- Be sure to clone this project with following command to include all the submodule this project will use
git clone --recursive https://github.com/jack111331/Ray
- Because each GPU driver offer different OpenGL function address to use function, we need to load it on run-time, the GLAD perfectly resolve this by providing an online service to let you choose your OpenGL version and your GPU driver specific extensions.
- Follow The tutorial here may give you more help.
- The setup works in my computer is like below:
- Language: "C/C++"
- Specification: "OpenGL"
- API gl: 4.5
- Profile: "Core"
- Extensions: "GL_ARB_shader_storage_buffer_object"
- Directly place the "src/" and "include/" directory generated from the zip of GLAD website into this project and replace them is enough.
- Execute "install_dependency.bat" or "install_dependency.sh" according to your OS.
- Make a directory called "build" in project root directory and cmake them inside it.
- Build them inside build directory
