Wiz Connection Issue Very similar to Issue #916 #954

Originally (yesterday), I posted the following into Issue #916 . After successfully posting, I then realized that 916 was closed. duh...

Through the magic of copy/paste, I created this bug report and have pasted my information below.

I have the same issue, so I uninstalled the app, rebooted and reinstalled. But the issue persists. When I select Wiz light, the app eventually locks up.

It is worth mentioning, I am not a developer. I'm vaguely familiar with YAML and attempting to provide you with some relevant information.

As to the Wiz light I am working with, here's the Amazon link for what I purchased.

AppPackage 5.8.9
Downloaded fromMicrosoft Store
All following logs/screenshots were generated AFTER:

  • uninstalling the app
  • rebooting
  • reinstalling the app

Here's a portion of my log. Is the log referencing "D" drive? If it is, I don't have a "D" drive, only "C".

Next screenshot, I select Wiz light, eventually the app locks up, as it never ack the existence of my Wiz light, which is on my /24 network.

Thank you for developing and sharing this app!
I look forward to getting it functional. I certainly do not mind purchasing a different smart bulb, if you can recommend a brand & model that might resolve my issues.

I am still having the issue I first posted about with issue #916. As others were able to get it working I was diving into 365 permissions and such on my email to see if something there was blocking it. Nothing was blocking it. I would like to see what is found here and if needed I can provide further logs if needed.
