"Studio extensions" in the days of Studio were stateful, with a single object being used for an entire connection until the network flaked out and you freaked out about losing your work. (Which usually didn't actually happen.)
Now that everything is going through REST APIs, that's not so much the case. Have extension owners found any solutions for cases where statefulness is unfortunately required? Do cookies work? %session? (@gjsjohnmurray I'm mostly asking you.)
