The current version is extremely greedy. It's using 32GB ram, and all other processes are forced to use swapfiles (Win11).
This results is horrendous performance drop due to spike in disk IO.

Please provide a way to set the maximum memory used.

I'm encountering an Out-of-Memory (OOM) issue with Daedalus. After the wallet fully initializes, the system becomes unresponsive and is eventually killed by the OOM killer. This occurs despite having ample system memory available.
Before the OOM event, the system's idle memory usage is around 300MB.
