The current docs workflow should be replaced with a release type that performs the same logic via the CLI. This will homogenize it with the other releases and allow further customization in the future.

Ran into too many issues trying to get this to work with GitHub pages due to the need for removing git history (aka managing orphan branches). The plan going forward will be deploying/managing docs using AWS S3. Until the infrastructure work is done, this issue is blocked.
