There is plenty of documentation on the web on how to setup this kind of thing, imo this is out of scope of the documentation we should give for Immich itself. |

I don't agree. For example, this hint of possible automation was very helpful: This part was not so helpful for me on https://immich.app/docs/guides/database-queries, because it's only about command line access. But many users prefer a GUI. I prefer GUI
Regarding Adminer, I would be happy, if I would found such an easy solution in the docs. Instead of, I tried to implement external access to my posgreSQL database, installed pgAdmin 4, just to get access to the immich database. Because I even didn't know about the existence of Adminer. Knowing this before, it would have saved me hours. Why not make life easier for other immich administrators, if it would be so easy to add this kind of hint into the docs? Why all immich admins should be nerds, knowing, how to work in linux, with docker, databases, using CLI and so on? And it is not complicated to add a small hint into the docs. I even would do this, if I am allowed. But reading your commet, I am afraid, this change could be rejected. CLI is fine, but GUI also. |

The feature
https://immich.app/docs/guides/database-queries lists some queries.
it looks like, that it is very easy to add Adminer to the docker-compose, and this way administrators get very easy GUI access to the database. See idea posted by @jurekl in #6093 (reply in thread)_
Could we include this into the documentation as a hint?
my configuration:
maybe the port mapping is not the best, if it is already used
Can users just contribute to the docs?
