I have searched the existing feature requests to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

You can use Google Photos on mobile to view and manage local photos without any backup happening.

I'd love to use Immich for this as well. I think it would be a great gallery app even if you decide not to back them up to your server.

Could Immich allow this so you don't need to log in to a server to use the app for anything?
