docker cp4i 2020.4 install openshift

Scope

A simple docker container that can be used to install Cloud Pak for Integration v2020.4 on OpenShift 4.6 on the IBM Cloud to support the CP4I workshop https://github.com/IBM/cloudpakforintegration-workshop

The following are installed:

  • API Connect
  • App Connect Designer
  • App Connect Dashboard
  • MQ
  • Apache Kafka (Strimzi)
  • TraderLite App Operator
  • Workshop Info app (Frodo Local)

Usage

Run via a docker ENTRYPOINT check: https://phoenixnap.com/kb/docker-cmd-vs-entrypoint if you are wondering why.

EXAMPLE:

docker run --entrypoint /scripts/run.sh quay.io/clouddragons/docker-cp4i-2020.4:latest  "CLUSTER" "APIKEY" "ENTITLEMENT_KEY" "FRODO_LOCAL_IMAGE"

PARAMETERS

Name Description
CLUSTER OpenShift cluster name or id
APIKEY api key for OpenShift cluster account
ENTITLEMENT_KEY Can be found here
FRODO_LOCAL_IMAGE Image of Frodo Local app, defaults to quay.io/clouddragons/cp4i-workshop-mgr:2020.4
