This project is very a good idea in order to have e2e tests written in Gerhkins style however it is tightly coupled to Test Café
It would be better to be agnostic of the technology of the selectors and can choose protractor, test café and so ?
What do you think?

Hi @khaldounaissaoui2 , sorry for this very delayed response.

This project has been created because it was very difficult to fully integrate TestCafe with Cucumber.

These two products have their own runners and TestCafe has not been designed to be a pluggable solution within cucumber.

When you add typescript above all of these it's a nightmare to have a smooth integration between Cucumber and TestCafe.

Each of these products is great on its own but not designed to work with the other.

So, are you suggesting this testcafe-starter project could be the cucumber vnext?
If you think so, I would love to create such a project with you!

I think it should be the cucumber vnext.
because like you said it is a nightmare to integrate cucumber with all of the e2e testing technologies.
Then the project would Bdd-e2e-starter.
