As we have experience running a katzenpost-based mixnet for a while, we want to benchmark the various components in order to decide where to optimize parts of the mixnet. We also want to optimize our custom components and tools accordingly.

List of things to benchmark

  • : Mix nodes behavior
  • : Provider node behavior
  • : Authority node behavior (both in non-voting and voting authorities)
  • : Tools for building our testnets

This list is non-exhaustive and incomplete. Will update this issue with details once we have them.
