Your provided logcat doesn't seem correct. Open logfox, navigate to the "Recordings" tab and click on the bottom-right floating button to start a new recording. Now open DroidFS, try to open your volume, then go back to logfox and stop the recording. Is your volume a CryFS or gocryptfs volume? Where is it located? Are you using fingerprint authentication within DroidFS? |
It is a hidden volume of CryFS. After the volume could not be opened, I activated the fingerprint authentication. |
Unfortunately, I cannot find any relevant details in the logcat. When has this error started to appear? Can you open the volume with the original cryfs desktop program? You can also try to wipe DroidFS data, but this will erase your volume as it is hidden. Ensure to make backup before. |
This problem came up for me without reason. I stayed about four days without using the app and, when I opened it, I saw this. I don't can access CryFS on the desktop. How could I make a backup? |
How to open the encrypted volume with CryFS in the original desktop program? |
To make a backup, select your volume and click "Copy to shared storage". You can then transfer the volume to your computer or other devices. Your issue looks similar to #242. |
I tried to back up to my own storage, but since it’s 20 GB, I only managed to copy a third of the files in 5 hours, because it ended up overheating and closing the DroidFS. I will try to back up to another phone using the OTG cable. |
If you can't use the "Copy to shared storage" feature for some reason, you can also try importing the volume content into another, non-hidden, volume. |
I am not able to open the cryfs volume of 20 GB. Is there a way to recover these files through root or did I lose everything?
