Telescope-file-browser current selection not highlighted

I'm using the telescope-file-browser plugin, and when I browse for files while using this repo this is what I see.

where as on the morhetz repo this was the original look.

Likewise on darkmode, the selection also has its color flipped. Don't know if this behavior is intended, but having the selected be an alternate color really helps with visual targeting. Maybe there's a way we can adjust the selection highlight?

EDIT: Also directories don't seem to get highlighted at all, making it extra difficult sometimes to see where the cursor is at
