Changing ePub layout from “paginated” to “scroll” still keeps page breaks #1842
Comments
I don't quite understand the issue, would you be able to provide more information, or maybe a video of the screen showing the problem ? |
The texts below and above the highlighted gap are from the same paragraph. They were split into two pages in the paginated layout. After switching to the scrolling layout, there is a gap left separating the texts. Reopening the file with scrolling layout the gap disappears. I checked a few other files and saw the same issue. trim.E2AEE96E-9D60-4172-B0DE-A79FBC54CECE.MOV |
Can you provide the book ? |
Here you go. Learning Python, 5th Edition (2013) - Mark Lutz.zip Some other books I checked also exhibit the issue |
tried with your book and cannot reproduce |
It only happens on iOS. And not just for this book. trim.3B726937-E00C-4CA7-A3CD-C0E6A2DCF982.MOVHere you can see the extra gap between 'but this time he nodded to her,' and 'the nod one gives an equal'. If I switch to another app and then switch back, the gap disappears. |
Steps to reproduce
Open an ePub file in Komga on iPhone. Change the layout from “paginated” to “scroll”.
Expected behavior
Texts from the same paragraph will be placed together with the same line space in-between.
Actual behavior
Page breaks from the “paginated” layout remain even for texts from the same paragraph.
