@gotson Here's a better 1:1 comparison, sorry: Komka seems to zoom out to fit the first page in thumbnail (no matter the aspect ratio) whereas Inkheart in comparison, seems to do the opposite; extract the first page to match the aspect ratio of thumbnail layout |

At the moment, my newspapers look like this in Komga:
which looks less nice than the same view you would get using Inkheart (https://gitlab.com/Nystik/inkheart):
I'm not trying to make this a competition between projects, but i think we can agree that stretching the pdf covers to fill the entire thumbnail space looks objectively nicer in this example.
Would it be possible to implement something like this? So that the user has the ability to select "stretch to fit" or equivalent?
