Rocker Gesture (RL) New Tab nothing active

When using rocker gesture RL to open a new Tab there is nothing active, not the address search or the "new tab" search option. Basically the new tab is nu-useable until you click in it somewhere. Using a swipe RL opens a new tab and the address bar is active for typing. It's just the rocker feature that does not work.
