i also have this issue. opening mission control (i.e. three-finger swipe up) or moving between spaces becomes very laggy when ghostty is running. resizing ghostty becomes very sluggish, too. interestingly, when i fullscreen ghostty (meaning native fullscreen, ghostty becomes its own space), the issue seems to go away. ghostty: macos: intel, macos sequoia 15.2 (24C101) |

i may have found the culprit. macos-titlebar-style is set to "transparent" by default. when i switch to "native", the problem goes away. |

Maybe related, if you have more than one tab, the window preview in mission control will also be black. |

I too managed to solve this with the following added to my config:
I had the same issue (and fix) with Wezterm so perhaps this is a macOS issue (or implementation issue within the OS) |

I dont know whether the video is justifying the issue, but after updating to v1.0.1, on macos i feel like when i try to open mission control it is so much laggy for all apps. After closing ghostty it is back to normal but when ghostty is open its laggy. I even restarted my macbook still it was same.
I have made a help request on discord server also. this is the link to video:
