For now, I am using wsy as the working name (from this issue). We need to settle on a name eventually, and that is what this issue is for.

Here are the suggestions we have so far, in no particular order:

  • wurl (Websocket cURL, pronounced whirl)
  • wsy (WebSockets made easY, pronounced woozy)
  • wssh (WebSocket SHell, pronounced woosh)
  • ws (WebSocket, pronounced W-S). Most likely taken

Please feel free to pitch in with other ideas, or comment on which ones you like most.

I think, for now, I am leaning towards wurl. I'll use that in development, but feel free to suggest alternatives throughout the near future.
